As if July’s Victoria Ska Festival wasn’t enough great ska for British Colombians next month, local hero DJ Ska T has just announced another July show featuring two heavyweights of the scene – Seattle’s Easy Big Fella bring their melodic skank with them from south of the border and Vancouver’s own Los Furios will no doubt whip the party up to frenzied levels with their killer set – In addition to that, we’re wheeling out a whole host of poster stock, old and new, to exhibit on the night, expect to see limited edition screenprints and a few Combi Cubes stuffed full of your favorite C13 designs..! Melbourne’s excellent Ska Nation event returns this September with a killer lineup led by none other than New York Ska legends, The Toasters..! Along with a dozen other top notch acts, this really does look set to be a day to remember in Australian Ska – Sadly, this will be the last Ska Nation after five successful years but you can guarantee that it’s gonna go off with a bang..!

How Bizarre..! Bizarro’s Rock n Roll Circus comes to town on Saturday 28th of April and features some amazingly talented musicians – Blackberry Wood, a real favorite here in BC, are heading things up just days before hitting Europe on Tour…Also featured on the night are the Rockabilly Skankers The Elixxxirs, along with an acoustic set from Furios front man Kyle Fury and soul giants, the Valuables..! Another thing marking the event out as super special, proceeds will be donated to the Wedding Fund of our dear friends Sandra & Tyler, otherwise known as Bombers & Bones here at Combi13 – We’ll be selling prints of the poster to contribute to their upcoming nuptials..!

When the Death Grip asks if you’d like to do a Poster show, you say yes, and that’s exactly what we did – We’ll be set up down at Pats Pub with our selected ensemble of Limited Edition Screenprints and copies of our favourite posters for sale… On the night there will be various other venders and Burlesque Dancing thrown into the ace musical mix of Black Amps,The Getaway Sticks and the excellent Swank…

Saturday 17th March see’s the Dreadnoughts, the world’s biggest baddest drunkest Polka band, descend on the fortune Sound Club for a special double set performance..! If you’re a fan of the band get to the Anti St Patricks Day Polka Party early for the are doors at 5.30pm, for the first rabble rousing set at 6.30pm…Later that night at 9pm the band will return to close the show in their ever exuberant style..!
